Becoming One With Nature

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

Lately I’ve been becoming more and more interested in taking in all things nature.  I just moved to Idaho and decided to become rugged and an outdoors type of girl.  As part of my research and quest, every few weeks I go to a camping and outdoors store and look at all kinds of camping accessories and every kind of tent from swiss tents to kid tents.  Going into these stores really made me want to go camping.  After doing some research and deciding to go camping this weekend, I’m going to go buy one of those Ozark Tents to take with me.

Talking About Eurail Tickets And Reservations

Thursday, June 18th, 2009

I’ve recently become interested in Eurail Tickets and Reservations.
I’ve been dying to go to Europe since I was a teenager. It’s time to just go.
Everything I’ve read about traveling Europe By Eurail says it’s a great way to travel on a budget.
Just a few more weeks before I head out. Thank goodness!
Please comment and let me know what you think.

Experience Land and Sea with a Vacation to Portofino Italy

Friday, May 8th, 2009

If you have the privilege of visiting Portofino, Italy one of the first things you will notice are the beautiful yachts that line the marina and waterway. Many people travel to Italy via boat. If you have the funds available, you can charter a sail boat or power boat to take you up and down the coastline. To see Positano from the water is one that very few people get to see, so take the opportunity while you can. The water is not the only thing there is to admire on your Portofino Italy vacations. Portofino can only be accessed by walking. Cars are made to park on the outskirts of town and you are “forced” to experience the town on foot. If you are up for a long (but pleasant) 2 hour walk, a visit to an 8th century Benedictine abbey should not be missed. If you don’t have the time or the energy to walk the 2 hours, ferry rides are available. The abbey and the water are awe inspiring sights to behold and should not be missed.

I did not take that many trips

Tuesday, April 7th, 2009

When I was a kid I did not take that many trips. This is something I really wish me and my family could have done more often. But as my family was not all that wealthy we could not afford to go to as many places as my friends. This is a real shame as I would have loved to see what was beyond my normal everyday existence. So I guess that is why I caught the travel bug later on in life and now all I want to do is go on as many vacations as possible.  I am a true vagabond right now.

Vacation Property a Good Investment

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

If you are looking for vacation property, consider buying a Hilton Head Villa.  This is a great opportunity to own a vacation home and earn income from rental property.  The island is one of the country’s premier vacation destinations offering water sports, golf, tennis, spas, shopping, and great cuisine.  The villas on the beach are especially attractive to families.  If you do not want to personally oversee the property, hire a realty company to rent and maintain it.  They can advertise the property on their web site and reach thousands of potential tenants.  The price of lodging can be included with an all inclusive package of amenities.  Instead of renting vacation property, buy it and let the property pay for your vacation.

Roatan Offers Wonderful Scuba Diving

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

I am not an expereinced scuba diver but have dove in some of the earth’s most beautiful locations such as the Galapagos Islands, the crystal waters of the Phuket, , and the waters off of Maui. So I was very excited to try scuba diving in Roatan. My Roatan scuba dive started with a trip to the local dive shop where the locals told me about the best spots to go diving to see various types of ocean life. I wanted to dive a shipwreck but I couldn’t find the time to do it on this trip. My diving experience in Roatan was a wonderful one but with so much to see and not enough time, I will have to plan my return trip to the area for more scuba diving.

Cutting Costs With Avion Private Jet Club

Thursday, January 8th, 2009

If you’ve ever wanted a private jet, but didn’t want the private jet prices, Avion is one place to start. You may have heard of the “fractional” ownership of private jets. Avion isn’t like that. With avion private jet club membership you get most of the benefits of having your own jet, without actually having to own it. At $14,000 per person per year (with a $14K fee to join) is the only annual cost. Other than that you have to pay for the trips which are 8K each. The only drawback is that destinations are limited to LA, New York, and soon Las Vegas we’re told.
