Becoming One With Nature

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

Lately I’ve been becoming more and more interested in taking in all things nature.  I just moved to Idaho and decided to become rugged and an outdoors type of girl.  As part of my research and quest, every few weeks I go to a camping and outdoors store and look at all kinds of camping accessories and every kind of tent from swiss tents to kid tents.  Going into these stores really made me want to go camping.  After doing some research and deciding to go camping this weekend, I’m going to go buy one of those Ozark Tents to take with me.

Roatan Offers Wonderful Scuba Diving

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

I am not an expereinced scuba diver but have dove in some of the earth’s most beautiful locations such as the Galapagos Islands, the crystal waters of the Phuket, , and the waters off of Maui. So I was very excited to try scuba diving in Roatan. My Roatan scuba dive started with a trip to the local dive shop where the locals told me about the best spots to go diving to see various types of ocean life. I wanted to dive a shipwreck but I couldn’t find the time to do it on this trip. My diving experience in Roatan was a wonderful one but with so much to see and not enough time, I will have to plan my return trip to the area for more scuba diving.

GPS tracking watches are a hi-tech supplemental tool

Saturday, June 14th, 2008

My septuragenian uncle had come on a visit to our house. He was happy sightseeing and relishing the dishes I prepared for him. As he had become absent minded with age, I always accompanied him on sightseeing trips. It so happened that I saw an article on GPS Tracking Watches and what a helpful tool it was for the user to pinpoint and locate the whereabouts of the lost person. I showed the article to my uncle and suggested that he should purchase one so as to keep his family members informed about his movements in case he felt like venturing out on his own.

Inflatable tents are the easy option

Friday, March 21st, 2008

I really love camping because I think there is nothing better than being in the outdoors, especially when the weather is nice and warm and you can relax in the middle of nature. However, camping can be a bit of a problem in that it does take a lot of work, and it is because of this reason that I took a look at the range of Inflatable Tents that are now available, because they really do make putting up a tent very easy indeed. I now love camping even more, now that I can put up a tent is a matter of minutes.
